FORTUNATE ABSENCE.
TWO YORKSHIRE GIRLS. AIRCRAFT WRECKS ROOM. LONDON, May 18. Two Yorkshire farm girls, the Misses Stonoliouso, believe they are alive today because they sat up last night watching ducklings hatch out. Shortly after midnight a Royal Air Force aeroplane crashed on flic farmhouse. ft wrecked the girls’ bedroom and the bed.
Mrs Stonoliouso said that but for the ducklings the girls would have been asleep there.
