MISS JEAN BATTEN.
LIFE STORY TO BE PUBLISHED. A GLOWING TRIBUTE. FUnited Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. Harraps will publish Miss Jean Batten’s life story. It is an attractive narrative of all her flights. The Marquess of Londonderry (former Secretary of State for Air) in a foreword expresses the opinion that as navigator she has judgment second to none. She stands for more than a skilled, intrepid pilot. She has shown outstanding courage, prudence and resource.
