MORE DISAPPEAR.

WITNESSES IN SPY INQUIRY. ACCUSERS’ BAIL INCREASED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) NEW YORK, May 20. Several other important Government witnesses in the espionage case have disappeared, and are believed to have left the country. The assistant United States Attorney (Mr Lester Dunningham) told a Federal grand jury in a secret session that the fate of Dr. Ignatz Greibl the chief witness in the ease, who has disappeared, still unknown.

A mysterious witness to-day was a woman identified as Miss Kate Busch, the proprietress of a nursing home, who stated that she was once temporarily employed as a nurse at Mr Roosevelt’s Hyde Park home.

It is believed - that Miss Busch is to v play a key part in the Governmentplanned exposure of the international spy fraternity created by agents of Germany. Miss Busch and Mrs Greibl were questioned for two hours, and Mrs Greibl was gruellingly cross-exam-iifed by Federal agents. When they left both women were agitated and argued together heatedly. Miss Busch was not only a close friend of Dr. Greibl but is said to have considerable knowledge of the American wing of the espionage organisation.

To prevent further disappearances the Court has raised the bail bn Otto Voss, who is accused of selling military secrets to Germany, from 10,000 to 25,000 dollars. Voss and Hermann were locked up under detention to preclude the possibility of their disappearing.

Mrs Roosevelt says that she has rot heard of Miss Busch.
