CALLING ALL CARS.
SAFETY FIRST BROADCASTS, As most of tlm cars in the Uni tod States of America and Canada are fitted with radio—popular because of [he distances many people drive—llie safety-first campaigners hit upon tlie happy idea of broadcasting a. special programme for these motorists in the form of an appeal to them whilst they were actually at the wheel, to drive carefully. It was not a, dull programme in the form of a lecture, hut one in rhyme and music. The programme appears to have been treated in the right way and at the right time. Mr Semple please note.
