GORE RACING CLUB. ROY BUN WINS HANDICAP. (Per Press Association.) GORE, February 26. The Gore Racing Club’s summer meeting was hold in dull but warm weather. The track was hard and fast. There was a large attendance and the tota lisa tor handled £13,063 10s, compared with £12,655 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £21,448 10s, as compared with £21,456 last year. Concluding results: President’s Handicap, of £200; one mile and a distance—4l-3 Rov Bun 7.7 (Cassels) 1, 1-1 Pink Robe 7.12 (Jennings) 2, 2-2 Amelita 8.4 (>W. Ellis) 3. Won by six lengths, three lengths be--1.52 1-5.

BIG RACE WON BY .WINO. HOKITIKA, February 26. The Westland Racing Club’s meeting postponed from yesterday owing to rain, was held to-day in fine weather. The track was in wonderful order after rain. . The totalisator handled £4429 as against £4343 on the second day of the 1936 summer meeting. The attendance was moderate. Results:

Edwards, who piloted five winners. Normandy, Late Night and Fantan were unplaced in the Cape Solander Handicap, and Kowtow in the Trial Stakes. In the Fourteen Two Handicap of six furlongs Salbury won in 1.15—a race record.
