General Miaja denying the rumours that the Government was negotiating an armistice said: “I am firmly resolved to fight for a definite victory. I will never negotiate with those who permitted foreigners to invade Spain. Our motto, is: Spain for Spaniards; expel the invader.” SPANISH INVITATION ACCEPTED. MAJOR ATTLEE TO INVESTIGATE. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) LONDON, November 26. The leader of the Opposition (Major C. R. Attlee) has accepted an invitation from the Spanish Government to visit Spain to,study the situation. RUTHLESSLY BOMBED. GREAT LOSS OF CIVILIAN LIFE. MADRID, November 25. The insurgents ruthlessly bombed Cuadalaparra, causing great destruction of buildings and loss of civilian life. The Italians are reported to be massing .at Guadalapavra to avenge their rout last March.
