T>URSUANT to Section 27 of “Th© X Counties Act, 1920,” notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the above Council held on Friday, the fifth day of November, 1937, a resolution was passed by way of Special Order merging the Longbeacli and Wakanui Road Districts in the County of Ashburton and abolishing the Boards thereof. This Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Baring Square, Ashburton, on FRIDAY, the third day of December, 1937. A copy of the proposed Special Order is deposited at the Council Chambers, Baring Square, Ashburton, and will be open for inspection of the public during office hours until the third day of December, 1937."'
