The air mail service with flying-boats between Britain and Australia may be able to start early in the New Year, in spite of the delay in the construction of bases. The Prime Minister (Mr J., A. Lyons) said that the Commonwealth would do everything possible to hurry the start of the service, and if the cost were not too high,, temporary facilities would probably be prbvided.
