TWO YEARS’ BORSTAL.
A YOUTHFUL HOUSEBREAKER. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. John James McCarthy, aged 17, was sentenced at the Supreme Court to two years’ Borstal treatment on eight charges of breaking and entering houses at night and day and one charge of theft from a dwelling. The goods stolen were valued at £IOO.
