GREAT DAMAGE IN PORTUGAL. TRAIN COLLISION INJURES 18. ‘United Press Association —Copyright.) LISBON, November 12. Floods have swept the country causing vast damage. Lisbon is virtually isolated, while torrential rain is marooning trains, trams and cars, and stopping the, Tagus ferries. Patients in the Monte Estoril Hospital were rescued from the windows by the fire brigade. The floods caused a railway collision in which 18 persons were injured.
