ARMSTRONG BEATS BEAUHULD (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 20. Henry Armstrong defeated Billy Beauhuld on a technical knock-out in the fifth round of a ten round bout. Armstrong has now strengthened his position as a leading contender for the lightweight title. Beauhuld was previously unbeaten. It was a toe to too free hitting battle. The loser was unable to withstand the power of Armstrong’s two handed punching and his long right to the jaw. Armstrong floored Beauhuld for the count of nine in the first round, and knocked him down in the fifth round for seven, whereupon the referee intervened. ADMICK BEATS ROSENBLOOM. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 20. Jimmy Admick (13.8) knocked out Maxio Rosenbloom (13.3)) in the second round of a ten round contest at Dtetroit. A left to the jaw floored Rosenbloom in the first round for the count of eight, and a series of hard body punches and a right cross to the jaw finished him.
