MARRIAGE POSTPONED

The guests vainly waited an hour to celebrate the wedding ot Bob Gregory and Valerie Brooke, which did not eventuate. The couple later explained that dye to a family bereavement the wedding had been postponed until December 20.
A. recent cablegram stated * JVliss Valerie Brooke, daughter of the Rajah of Sarawak, watched Bob Fyffei, an American, beat Bob Gregory with a flying throw in the eighth round of a contest at Belfast. She said she would marry Gregory on December 20, her twenty-second birthday.. I have always been a fighter. This is only another fight. lam not pinned down yet,” said Bob Gregory, aged 20, middle-weight catch-as-catch-can champion of Europe and all-in wrestler, dedaring his determination to marry Miss Brooke, despite parental opposition. “Both the Ranee and the Rajah oppose the wedding,” said a member of the Ranee’s household. The Rajah has cabled intimating that he will disinherit his daughter if she disobeys his wishes.”
