Percy Arnold Stone, a car salesman, aged 20, of Katjkati, who was found guilty of negligent driving, causing death, the jury making a strong plea for leniency on Friday, was admitted to probation for five years by Mr Justice Callan at the Supreme Court today. His licence was suspended for five years. Stone collided with a girl cyclist, Beryl Byrne, aged 18, at Buntly, killing her instantly, on September.
