GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
NEW TITLE FOR MODERATORS. “THE RIGHT REVEREND.” (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 18. After a session which began on Wednesday of last week, the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand ended its proceedings to-day. New titles for the Moderator and former Moderators of the General Assembly were agreed upon. It was resolved that the Moderator in office should have the Right Reverend prefixed to his name instead of Reverend, as formerly. Former Moderators will he known as Very Rev. erend. The new Moderator is the Rt. Rev. W. H. Howes, of Otautau, Southland.
