INCREASE IN WAGES.
BRITISH CHEMICAL WORKERS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, December 22. An advance in wages which will affect about 28,000 chemical workers in various parts of the United Kingdom will take effect on January 4 by an agreement reached between Imperial Chemical Industries and the various trade unions interested. Adult male workers’ wages will be increased by j}d an hour and the rates for piece workers, female and juvenile workers are also being adjusted.— British Official Wireless.
