MEETING CALLED

MEMBERS OF LABOUR PARTY. SHARE IN ADMINISTRATION. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, November 9. Even though Parliament is in recess, members of, the Labour Party are to be given an opportunity of playing thenpart in the general work of the Government. To this end all members of the Labour Party in Parliament have been summoned to attend a meeting in Wellington about November 25. At this meeting they will bo made acquainted with the administrative steps taken by the Cabinet since the close of the session, and will be invited to co-operate with Ministers in dealing with problems arising from time to time. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) stated to-day that it was his desire and that of the Government that every available man should be given an opportunity of sharing in the general work of the administration. The unemployment problem will be among the subjects to be considered. Questions of administration in connection with important measures passed during the last session of Parliament are at present receiving the attention of the Government. One of the most important matters to be dealt with is the rehabilitation of mortgagors and lessees in terms of the legislation already on the Statute Book, and in the near future the personnel of the court or courts of review and adjustment commissions is likely to be announced. The Prime Minister said to-day that the Government had not yet decided on the number of courts to be set up, but the whole question was receiving the attention of the Government. 'Mr Savage intends in the near future to visit the main centres of the Dominion, but so far no itinerary! has been mapped out.
