FOREIGN CAPITAL IN AMERICA. {United Press Association, —Copyright' LONDON, November 8. The New York correspondent of “The Times” states that the'rush of foreign capital into American security markets after Mr Roosevelt’s triumph, has called attention to the fact that foreigners’ investments here are probably the largest since the World War.. It is estimated that foreigners’ longterm investments total 5,700,000,000 dollars, and short-term balances 1,300,000,000, a total of 7,000,000,000 dollars. Economists and bankers believe that American markets are move vulnerable to the withdrawal of European capital than at any time since the outbreak of the war in 1914, when foreign .liquidations caused the suspension of exchange operations. However, most indications point to a continued influx ol foreign capital.
