REDUCTION SOUGHT.
LEVY ON BUTTER AND CHEESE. (Per Press Association.) MASTEITTON, Sept. 7. At a ward conference of dairy producers at Carterton to-day, the opinion was expressed that, in view of the altered status of Hie Dai-y Produce Board, the levy on butter and cheese should be reduced. It was said that the powers of the Board had been reduced to a minimum, the Marketing Department taking over the marketing of all butter and cheese.
