AUTHORITY NEXT WEEK. /Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August '2l. The Minister for Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan), in an interview, said be had received the results of the Department’s inquiry, and having regard to the new agreement entered into between master bakers and their employees at Conciliation Council proceedings this week, and other factois which played - a part, a slight increase was necessary in the price of bread, though not over the whole of the’ Dominion. The necessary authority permitting a slight increase in the four chief centres and in certain other places where’ such an increase was justified will .be issued next week.
