MINIATURE RIFLES.
LYNNFORD DEFEATS EALING. A team from The Ealing Miniature Rifle Club journeyed to Lynnford. on Thursday evening to fire friendly matches with the local club. The results were:—< Lynnford—Miss D. Dell 70, Miss M. Mclnness 72, C. Dell 77, D. "Davison 77, N. Reid 76, N. Bauerle 80, W. Dell 75, H. Painte;r 76, N. Boyd 76, D. Johnston 76, E. Bishop 76, A. Mctosh 75; total, 906. Ealing—J. Jones 77, E. Witliell 73, N. Hooper 71, R. Good 69, R. Hansen 64, H. Bennett 69, A. Butterworth 74, W. Banks 74, L. Galletly 79,„5. Galletly 76, W. Forsyth 77, G. Johnston 7 5; total, 878. The totals- for eight men were:— Lynnford 614, Ealing 605. The performance of the winning team was very creditable, consideriing that’ eight of them were junior members, of 17 years and under. A four-a-side team also fired a match on the new “Metric” targets, the bull’s-eye being only 1-inch. The results were: — Ealing —J. Jones 78, L. Galletly 76, W. Forsyth 76, S. Galletly 76; total, 306. Lynnford —L. Dell 76, HI. Fainter 75, N. Bauerle 75, N. Reid 75; total, 300.
