SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. PRIMARY SCHOOLS RUGBY. The annual seven-a-side Rugby competition conducted by the Ashburton Schools Sports Association was held at the Showgrounds to-day. Schools from many parts of the County competed in warm and boisterous weather. The sports were controlled, by the teachers of the schools. Results up to 2.30 were;— Seniors, Town Section. First Round —East B defaulted to Allenton; East A 14, Borough nil. Seniors, Country Section. First Round —Lyndhurst A 32, Wakanui nil; Seafield! won by default from Lyndhurst B; Eiffelton 14, Tinwald. nil. Junior Section. First Round—East A 14, Timvald nil; Borough B 3, Eiffelton nil; Borough A 14, v East B nil; Lauriston 3, Allent-on nil. Midgets. First Round—-Borough E 3, East E nil; Allenton B 12, Borough D nil; East D 3, Timvald B nil. Second Round—Allenton A 15, East C nilj, Lyndhurst 9, Tinwald, A nil; Borough A 12, Fair ton nil; East A 1, Eiffelton nil; Convent 6, East B nil.
