’PLANES USE MACHINE-GUNS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) JERUSALEM, July 28. A British constable and six Arabs wore killed in a clash at Hillu Alololus. The action, which was the biggest since the rioting began, broke out when snipers fired on a military patrol. Three Arabs were killed by Lewis-gun fire, but the patrols were outnumbered and reinforcements were summoned. The Arabs resisted desperately. Aeroplanes machine-gunned the Arabs, and it is believed that many were wounded.
