QUICKER TASMAN VOYAGE. MAY BE REDUCED TO 2J DAYS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. The Awatea, the new liner built by Vickers, Armstrong, Ltd. for the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, completed her steaming speed trials on the Clyde. The speeds obtained exceed expectations and the owners expect to reduce tho time for the Sydney to Auckland run from four to 2J days.
