BISHOP-DESIGNATE.
ARRIVAL AT WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 17. Archdeacon Fl'. St. Barbe Holland, Bishop-designate of Wellington, arrived from London by the Akaroa with his wife and family, and was welcomed by tho Primate’s Commissary (the Rev. Canon James). The Archdeacon said he was very struck with tho warm green and red tones of the houses nestling in the hills, and it seemed to him an indication of tho warmth of feeling of the people who live in them.
