The Hong Kong correspondent of the Exchange News Agency says that 100,000 Chinese soldiers and civilians participated in an anti—Japanese demonstration in Canton, shouting the slogans, “Down With Japanese Imperialism” and “Fight the Japanese.” Virulent anti-Japanese speeches were delivered. ' SOUTHERN EVACUATION. ATTACK BY AIR. FEARED. HONG KONG, June 13. The Kwangsi forces, also . the Kwangtung troops are evacuating Lunan after a. skirmish with Chiang Kai~Shek’s defensive line, aggregating 150,000 southerners. They are also nervous of an aerial attack on Canton, in view 'of the National Government concentrating 30 bombing ’planes within 250 miles of the capital.
