WOOL SUBSTITUTE.
GERMANY WANTS REAL THING. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 12. “The development of woolstra is a substitute for wool is being vieu'ed very seriously by the Australian and New Zealand representatives in London,” said Mr L. G. Brundahl, Leipzig Trade Fair Commissioner, who is returning to Sydney by the Miariposa. It con—tained about 40 per cent. wool and the remainder of fibre. Extraordinary developments had been made. in. Germany with its manufacture, but the Germans dirl not wish to proceed with the manufacture of substitutes if they could place Illanufactured products in exchange for wool. At the moment Germany was faced with the necessity to find World markets for her products.
