The Priquinister, in reply to a question in the House of Commons whether Mr Neville Chamberlain’ s views on the abandonment of sanctions represented the vieWs of the Govern—ment, said they were the personal views of Mr Chamberlain” Pressed by the leaders of both sections of the Opposition to say if the expression of private views by a Minister was consistent with tradition, and constitutional use and was not embarrassing to other ministers, Mr Baldwin replied: ‘_‘l make no complaint myself of what the hon. gentlemen said.”-—British Official \Vireless.
