METHVEN DRAINAGE LOAN, 1935, £6,870. _ —‘ l PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The. 1 Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and with the precedent consent of the‘ Local Government Loans Board, notice} is hereby given that a Poll of Ratepay-‘ ers of the Methven Drainage Area of Ashburton County will be taken on Thursday, the 16th day of July, 1936, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £6870, forthe purpose of installing an Underground Drainage System for that Area. ‘ The sum proposed to be borrowed is £6,870. The proposedl security shall be a special gate _of ten sixteenths of a. penny in the :2 on the Capital Value of all rateable property within the Methven Drainage Area, Ashburton County, the loan to be for a term of thirty-five years, and bearing interest at the rate of three pounds ten shillings per cent (35 per cent) per annum, together with a Sinking Fund of One pound ten shillings per cent (1% per cent) per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan: the cost of raising the loan, but it is not proposed to pay the first first year’s interest and sinking fund out of the Loan. . ,Dated at Ashburton, this 6th day of June, 1936. Poll of Ratepay-i ers of the Methven Drainage Area of.‘ Ashburton County will be taken on‘ Thursday, the 16th day of July, 1936, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £2OOO for the purpose of making advances to ratepayers to enable them to connect their premises with the drainage system proposed to be installed. The sum proposed to be borrmved is £2OOO. The proposed security shall be a. special rate of seven sixteenths of a penny in the £3 on the Capital Value of all the rateable property within the Methven Drainage Area, Ashburton County, the loan to be for a term of ten years and bearing interest at the rate of three pounds ten shillings per cent (3% per cent) per annum together with a sinking fund of eight pounds ten shillings per cent (8% per cent) per annum.
