A MILD BOOM.
LAND SALES IN THE WAIKATO. (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, April 14. Greater activity than at any time in the last six years is being experienced in land transactions in Hamilton, the business amounting to a minor boom. Many properties have changed hands an recent weeks aggregating thousands of acres. In practically every case cash or very substantial deposits have been paid. A feature has been the large number of inquiries from southern buyers and a very live inquiry for both sheep and dairy farms.
