FLOWER SHOW

GOOD DISPLAY AT EIFFELTON. FOB SCHOOL AND TENNIS FUNDS THE LIST OF PRIZE-WINNERS. . The keenness of the interest taken in the Ejffelton School and the Eiffelton Tennis Club by residents of the district was demonstrated to-day, when the third annual flower show was held at the school. Entries in all classes of the schedule Were heavy, and the quality shown was high throughout. The flower section was remarkably good, and the exhibits of fruit and vegetables compared more than favourably with those of similar sjiows held recently. The proceeds will go to aid the Club’s general fund, and the show was organised by a committee representing the school and the club- The show will be continued this evening, when a number of side-shows will be conducted and the exhibits, together with a large number of items donated, will be sold by auction. The judges were: Flowers and vegetables, Mr H. B. Alillichainp; farm produce, Mr H. L. Barker; cookery, Mrs T. Lush; hand-work, Mesdames P. J. Andrew and H. B. Millichamp; children’s sections, Mr C. Miller.”
