JUDGE AT ARGENTINE SHOW. ; Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 9 Mr Isaac Andrew, of Eccleston, Marton, who has accepted an invitation to act as judge at the Argentine Rural Society’s big international live-stock show, to be held at Buenos Aires on August 22, is a son of the late Mr W. B. Andrew, one of the most successful sheep breeders in Canterbury. jVIr Andrew is one of the leading sheep judges, and has had wide experience of various breeds, particulaily with English Leicesters, Southdowns, Ryelands and Corriedales. He farmed for many years at Ellesmere, and was one of the most prominent exhibitors in the province. Mr Andrew received the request to act as judge from the president, who, in his invitation, states: “In the sheep section the following breeds keep up the outstanding position owing to their development in our country: Romney Marsh, Corriedale and Southdown. This society, knowing your recognised qualifications to judge the breeds referred to, and knowing your great experience in their breeding, would be greatly honoured if you would accept the invitation to judge at our show. You would be our guest during your stay in our country, and you would have to be here previous to Augqst 15. If you should he willing to make the trip we would be pleased to know the way or ship’s course you would like best, and then wo would be able to place at your disposal accommodation and return ticket.”
