CROQUET.
SOUTH CANTERBURY TOURNEY. The South, Canterbury Croquet Association’s annual tournament was concluded, yesterday. In the semi-final of the Open Championship, W. H. Kirk heat Mrs Cleary, 26-5, 26-19, and in the final he beat Mrs Gowlin. The final of the Women’s Championship was won by Mrs Kirk, who defeated Mrs W. McLennan. In the semi-final of the A Grade Button match Mrs Cleary defeated Mrs Austin.
