WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.
HAMPSTEAD JUNIOR CIRCLE. The junior circle of the Hampstead Women’s Institute opened the season last night, there being a large attendance. Ten new members were enrolled. Miss M. Crnickshank was elected president, and Miss B. Bonn secretary. It was decided to meet on the first Thursday of each month. Community singing, games and dancing • were enjoyed by all, and items were rendered by Misses N. Smith and I. Ede. The winner of the competition, was Miss M. Hunt. The competition for next month is to be a thrift article not costing more than Is. Hostesses for the evening were Misses N. Childs, F. Crawford, M. Hunt and M. Sutton. The singing of the National Anthem concluded an enjoyable evening.
