MUNICIPAL EXECUTIVE
MR WOODS AGAIN ELECTED. (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, March 5. The 1937 conference of the Alunicipal Association is to be held at Timaru. The date is to be fixed by the executive of the association. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr T. Jordan (Alayor of Alasterton); vice-presidents, the Mayors of Auckland (Mr E. Davis), Wellington (Mr T. C. A. Hislop), Christchurch, Dunedin (the Rev. E. T. Cox), and Timaru (Air T. W. Satterthwaite); executive committee, president and vice-presidents, together with the Alayors of Napier (Air C. O. Morse), Alount Albert (Air R. Forner), Sumner (Air T. Newburgh), Rotorua (Air T. Jackson), Ashburton (Mr AV. H. Woods, and Hawera (Mr J. E. Campbell), and chairman of the Papatoetoe Town Board (Air J. Nicholson), and the Otautau Town Board (Mr A. A. Diddell).
