BLATCH DEFEATS FLOWERS. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.)) SYDNEY, This Day. At the Stadium last night the Australian light-weight champion, Alf. Blatch (9st lllb) defeated the coloured American, Tiger Flower (9st 7ll>) on a technical knock-out in the eighth round. Blatch, who is improving with every fight, gave his opponent no chance, although Flowers resisted gamely.
