TINWALD SCHOOL.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the School committee of the Timvald School was held on Monday evening. There were present Mr J. H. Harper (chairman), and Messrs Frew, Lowery, Wakelin, Aldridge and Stevenson. The headmaster’s report showed that 16 five and six year pupils had been admitted and the roll number was 147. Mr E. L. B. Pemberton had returned to the staff as substitute assistant and Miss B. Jones had also been appointed to the school. The school has been most thoroughlyi cleaned during the holidays and presents a very clean appearance. The school gardens were greatly in need of a good soaking rain.
