Racing experts comment admiringly on Cuddle’s training work in Sydney, remarking that for a stayer she is an exceptionally brilliant sprinter. The New Zealand-bred colt, Gold Rod, is also pleasing the critics in preparatory work for future big events. Peter Pan, who recently returned from a spell, following his disappointing form at the Victorian spring carnival, has been training on well. Rogilla’s progress is also giving satisfaction.
