GERMAN 'PLANE CATCHES FIRE. THREE KILLED, TWO INJURED. ’PLANES COLLIDE OVER MUNICH. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) MUNICH, February 6. Two single-seater military aeroplanes collided 4000 feet above the city. Both pilots parachuted to safety. One ’plane fell on a museum then into the street. It broke through tramway cables and just missed a tram. It smashed shop windows. The ’plane caught fire, killing three people and injuring two'pedestrians. The crash caused a panic in the streets, some people shouting, “A bomb has fallen!” The crash short-circuited the electric cable, causing several hours’ dislocation of the tram service. The other ’plane fell harmlessly in the suburb.
