UNIVERSITY TEAM IN JAPAN. WIN ON HEAVY GROUND. TOKIO, Fab. 6. The New Zealand University Rugby team defeated Waseda by 22 points to 17. The game was postponed from yesterday because' of a fall of 16 inches of snow. The ground was cleared, but was
heavy. The team played well in spite of the difficulty in fielding the ball. It is anticipated that most of the players will be available for the fust test on Sunday. . . New-Zealand scored six tries and Waseda three. The New Zealand scorers were Jones, Watt, Thomas, Laney, McAuliffe, and Wilson. Bush converted two tries.
