Times — 3.28, 3.28 1-5, 3.28 2-5. Scratched: Native Son. SOUTH CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB. QUESTION OF WINTER DATE. The South Canterbury Jockey Club made application to a meeting of the Canterbury District Commttee yesterday to change the date of its winter meeting from June 20 to June 23 (Tuesday), the King’s Birthday. Subject to there being no objection by the Ashburton County Racing Club, whose meeting falls on the following Saturday, the application, was recommended to the Racing Conference.
