LATE COMMERCIAL
TINWALD STOCK MARKET. SMALL YARDING OF SHEEP. EWE PRICES REMAIN STEADY. There was a small yarding, consisting chiefly of ewes, at the Tinwald stock sale to-day. Prices for ewes were unchanged. The quality of lambs in the butchers pens was much better than at the previous sale, and prices showed a corresponding increase. The ewe section was topped by N. E, Mclntosh (Lynnford) with a pen of lat 15s 7d. A lamb sold on behalf of a.client sold at 31s 3d. A small wether entry was headed by T. E. Tarbotton (Tinwald) with one at 22s 3d.' The cattle entry was also small. Following are prices realised:— Fat ewes.—On account of C. Campbell (Springburn), 1 at 11s lOd, 13 at 11s Id: T. O’Neill (Waterton), 12 at 10s 7d; T. E. Farrell (Hinds), 7at 12s lOd, 7 at 13s lOd, 7 at 12s 4d; M. Farrell (Hinds), 8 at 10s 4d, 10 at 12s Id; James Lowry (Tinwald), 9 at 14s 4d, 9 at 12s 4d; S. Taylor (Wakanui), 11 at 11s 7d, 9at 11s lOd, 9at 13s 4cl; 8 at 14s 10d,; N. Mclntosh (Lynnford), 10 at 15s 7d, 7 at 14s lOd. Fat Lambs.—On account of 1.
