THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. PALMERSTON N., February 3. In the final of the open championship at the Dominion croquet tournament, A. J. Gibbs, of Patea, defeated Mrs Thomson (Auckland), the champion, in straight games, the -scores being 26-5, 26-12.
