A radio message from the master of tlie Discovery IT. states: “Expecting to meet Sir Hubert Wilkins in Ellsworth base ship Wyatt Earp in the Bay of Whales on Sunday. Ellsworth and Kenyon, who are aboard the Discovery 11., are well.”
I A congratulatory message to the master of the Discovery 11. has been sent by the Minister for the Colonies (Mr J. H. Thomas), who described the [mission as a. line piece of work.
I The Discovery Committee in London I has received the following wireless mesIsage from Mr Ellsworth: “Kenyon and | I are deeply grateful for the extraor- | dinary effort which you, through the Officers and the crew of the Discovery | 11., put forward on our behalf, and we assure you most sincerely how much we I feel the honour which has been accordled us by the Discovery Committee and ■the Australian Government. Lyons) has received the following radio message from Mr Lincoln Ellsworth, aboard the Discovery II.: “Kenyon and I arc deeply grateful for the extraordinary effort which your Government, through the Royal Australian Air Force, put forward on our behalf. We assure you most sincerely how much we feel the honour you have accorded us and wo cannot thank yon enough for all that has been done for us.”
