CONFERENCE WITH CABINET.

Members of the Cabinet consulted three representatives of the Wholesale Co-operative Society of Great. Britain on matters affecting general, trade. The organisation is one of the biggest distributing units in Britain and its representatives are in New Zealand in the course of a periodical visit, which has no political significance and was arranged long before the elections. The Prime Minister (Mr M. J. Savage) later said that the conference was purely along general trade lines.
