The New Zealand team for the second test match against the Englishmen, which will be played at Wellington next Friday, Saturday, and Monday, is:—Vivian, Weir, Wallace (Auckland), Cromb, Kerr, Roberts (Canterbury), Blandford, Lamason, Moloney, Blundell (Wellington), Elmes (Otago). The twelfth man will be selected at Wellington. No announcement has yet been made as to the captain. Wallace, Kerr, Blandford and Blundell are new selections, replacing Mills, Cowie, Merritt and Jackman. V. G. Cavanagh (Otago) was 12th man in the first test. MAORILAND TEAM IN FIJI. (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) SUVA, January 13. In a match against the Maoriland cricketers during the week-end, Northern Districts in the first innings scored 103 (McCaig 40„Mosese, a Fijian, 32). North Districts in the second innings scored 138. The Maorilanders in the first innings scored 153 (Walter 40), and in the second 63 for five. The match was drawn. Tbe visitors will return to Suva today for the final three-day test match against all Fiji, commencing to-morrow. INDIA’S SECOND INNINGS. (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LAHORE, January 12. India in the second innings scored 301 (Wazirali 92; Leather five for 102, Nagel two for 50). Tarrant’s team in the second innings has scored 157 for seven (Morrlsby 35, Ryder 70).
