’PLANE DAMAGED.
CAUSED BY SHEEP. (Per Press Association). NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 12. The undercarriage and propeller of a Western Federated Flying Club Moth aeroplane were completely smashed this morning when the machine struck a sheep as Mr K. Martin was taking off for Rotorua with a passenger. The aeroplane had run about 100 vaids when the propeller struck the sheep, which was caught by tlie undercutriage. ... , The undercarriage was torn off, ana the aeroplane came to rest level on the ground. Damage was done to the lower wings, but the pliot and the passenger were unharmed.
