PERSONAL.
The Rev, A. H. Childs (Tinwald) conducted the morning service at St. Stephen’s Church yesterday. Mr L. A. Charles took the evening service.
The resignation of Mr J. W. Wood as engineer-laundryman at the Ashburton Public Hospital, a position he! lias held for 11 years, was accepted by the hoard this morning, and he was accorded the thanks of the board for liis services. Mr A. K. Sutherland, who has been assistant-engineer for 7} years, was appointed to the position.
