DAIRY INDUSTRY
A TOUR OF TARANAKI. (Per Press Association). NEW PLYMOUTH, January 11. A tour of Taranaki will he completed to-morrow by the chairman of the Dairy Board (Mr A. J. Murdoch) and the ward member, Mr Linton, who were joined yesterday by Mr Marchant, another member. Discussion with about 40 dairy factory directorates has centred in the board's group marketing proposals. Mr Murdoch said to-day that some opposition had been met, but that satisfaction had generally been expressed. After explanation and discussion of the proposals, resolutions supporting group marketing were passed at nearly all the meetings.
