DEATH OF AN AIRMAN.
DUE TO SHOCK AND A WOUND.
(United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, January 10. (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) At the inquest on Flying-OfficCr Philip Butler, whose body was found floating in the sea after an aeroplane disappeared, evidence was given that death was due to exposure, shock and a wound in the head, which had displaced one eye and' might have been caused by the muzzle of a marine distress signal which a rough sea thrust back when Butler was. using it as a paddle. A verdict was given accordingly.
