ACCIDENTS & DEATHS.
MAN BELIEVED DROWNED. WELLINGTON, January 6. James Duggan, aged 40, a native of Ireland, is believed to have been drowned in the harbour off Aotea Quay yesterday It is stated that Duggan went for a walk with two companions and when they were going along the quay he broke away from them and iumped into the water, disappearing almost immediately. He was a married man. It is thought his wife lives in Ireland.
